Why Game Lab is a vital investment
AI will replace passive consumers and basic task-executors; but it cannot replace the digital architects who design, map, and deploy complex interactive environments.
By teaching your child to orchestrate multi-dimensional worlds in game engines, you place them at the absolute frontier of the digital revolution. They learn to command the technology, rather than compete with it.
The global gaming, animation, and interactive media market is a massive $200 Billion+ ecosystem, dwarfing global film and music industries combined.
Game Lab teaches your child step-by-step how to build the very digital infrastructure that the rest of the world pays to enjoy.
Most after-school hours drain away into mindless scrolling and passive screen time, hours your child never gets back.
Game Lab turns that screen time into a superpower, harnessing their innovativeness, and giving them a global competitive edge for a lifetime.
What they leave with
Every month brings new live sessions and group mentorship calls, to keep building on their game or start a new project.
From blank page to working world. They learn that big projects are just small steps in a row, and that their ideas are worth building.
Problem solving, iteration and resilience. The habits that shape job creators rather than job seekers.
In parents' words
Loved by every child in our first cohort.
AloboGame Lab parentWe want to sincerely appreciate every one of the Mentors and coaches. The program took our boys to a whole new world and they enjoyed every bit of it. It has broadened their minds, expanded their capacity to think, and scope of exploration, they are being productive with their time on their systems and not playing away.
QueenethGame Lab parentThank you so much for this initiative, for your time, patience and the energy you bring to the class, it was worth it👌.
We look forward to the final game product and the next phase this experience will launch them into.
And it was nice meeting other children /colleagues. We wish them well✌️
JamesGame Lab parentThanks to the team for sharing their knowledge, time and skills. Chibuikem enjoyed the class and it kept him busy after school and weekends. In his own words "I trying to solve a challenge, I'm not ready to eat"🤣
SimonGame Lab parentI've never seen Jeremy this excited on a project before, he goes out of his way to practice even before the classes.

See it for yourself
Games development changed my life, it can change your child's future too.
Your mentors
Head Game Master · VirtX GameLab
From a physics lesson to the BAFTA red carpet. Nnanna's journey began the moment he realised the same rules that explain our world can be used to build entirely new ones. That spark carried him through almost two decades at studios like Sony, Sumo Digital and Unity, earned his work a BAFTA nomination, and put him on stage at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, teaching developers from around the world on behalf of Unity.
Now, through VirtX, he's giving back to the craft that shaped him: empowering the next generation of creators.
World Builder · Art & Animation Mentor
The mentor your child will want to impress. An animator with experience across every stage of the production pipeline, Fejiro brings stylised characters, rich environments and cinematography to life, and shows students how artistic vision and technical precision work hand in hand.
Unity · Reallusion · Blender · ZBrush
Engine Master · Certified Unreal Instructor
With over a decade in animation and titles of his own published on the app stores, Uchenna is a certified Unreal instructor and Unity pro developer who blends traditional craft with cutting-edge tools. He's the one who makes sure no young builder ever stays stuck.
Unity · Unreal · Blender · Published developer
The future belongs to the creators.

Questions
A laptop or desktop computer (Windows or Mac), less than 7 years old, with a mouse and a stable internet connection. No dedicated graphics card is needed for these projects. We send a simple setup guide before the first session, and you are welcome to email hello@virtx.uk if you are unsure your device is suitable.
Live sessions run every Wednesday and Saturday at 16:00 UK time, and each one lasts 2 hours. Between sessions your child builds at their own pace with guided video lessons, ready to bring their progress back to the next live session. Creator members also get a dedicated one-to-one every Friday.
Every session is recorded, and the private replay is emailed to registered parents. Mentors also help members catch up at the start of the next session.
Members work in age bands (8 to 10, 11 to 13, 14 to 17) with projects pitched to their level. The tools are the same ones professionals use, the pace is not.
We keep our live groups deliberately small, with 3 mentors across the age bands, so nobody gets lost at the back.
Our tutors are NSPCC certified and DBS checked. Sessions are supervised live, and we are ICO registered for data protection.
Plans start at £60 a week for Builder, with live mentorship every Wednesday and Saturday, and £100 a week for Creator, which adds a dedicated one-to-one every Friday. Pay weekly, or save 20% on the full 8-week term. Cancel any time.
